Elderly - Neighbourhood links and Senior Activity Centres
Seniors Activity Centres (SAC)
Located at the void decks of selected 1 -2 room HDB rental blocks, Seniors Activity Centres (SAC) are places where the elderly are encouraged to spend the day in, to interact with others and to exercise.
It encourages the elderly to remain integrated in society through its community outreach programmes and social recreational activities. All SACs are linked up to an alert alarm system which can be activated during emergencies.

Neighbourhood Links (NL)
Serving as a focal point for information dissemination and referrals, Neighbourhood Link (NL) centres act as the extended social support system for elderly in the community. It aims to provide a local network of support as well as to promote active volunteerism at the neighbourhood level. Some NLs are linked to an alert alarm system which can be activated in an emergency.
