Adult - Rehabilitation and Therapy Services

A person diagnosed with multiple disabilities will benefit from rehabilitation and therapy programmes, which help individuals adapt better to the environment. Individuals who have not had the chance to experience early intervention are advised to take up such programmes to overcome their emotional and physical challenges brought by the impairment. The services offered include occupational therapy, speech therapy and physiotherapy. Persons impaired in areas of development and self-help skills in mobility (gross and fine motor skills), play as well as socializing, will benefit from such therapy Assistive devices and equipment that maximise independence may also come in handy.
