Young Children - Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children

Early Intervention Programmes

By detecting and intervening disabilities early, parents can ensure that a child has an early diagnosis of his or her difficulties, and in turn help the child cope with his or her condition better.

This can be done through early intervention programmes, which not only help prevent further deterioriation, but also aids the child in his or her developmental learning.

Ultimately, this enables the child to achieve his or her potential to the fullest in spite of any impairment. With the suitable skills, the child can be better prepared to be integrated into society.

There are a number of programmes that are run by several centres in Singapore. Parents can check the following for more details.

  • Standard EIPIC Referrals Forms
  • Social Report & Medical Report
  • Psychological Report for Children with Autism

While every effort will be made to place children in their preferred centres, acceptance into the EIPIC programme at the preferred centre is subject to the number of vacancies at the centres and to the respective centre management's approval.
