The Integrated Child Care Programme (ICCP) enables children with special needs to learn alongside their peers in mainstream childcare centres. It provides a natural environment for these children to learn, play and socialise in, preparing them for future entry into mainstream education.
The Centre for Enabled Living provides referrals to the ICCP centres in Singapore.
Who
Children aged 2 to 6 with mild to moderate physical, hearing, visual or speech impairments or developmental delays
How
Speak to a medical social worker at a hospital’s Child Development Unit for assistance in submitting the
ICCP referral form to the Centre for Enabled Living (CEL).
While every effort will be made to place children in their preferred centres, acceptance into the ICCP programme at the preferred centre is subject to the number of vacancies at the centre and to the respective centre management's approval.
